Job summary

NEW Cooperative Inc. is seeking a qualified agronomy technician to apply crop protection products, deliver agronomy goods, and support the grain department with a focus on safety and customer service.

The role is based at our Iowa location and offers opportunities for growth within a farmer-owned cooperative. You will operate spraying and NH3 equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and support other areas of the location during peak seasons, while adhering to safety protocols and quality

Qualifications

• CDL class A with tanker and HazMat endorsements required.
• Commercial Applicator’s license required or ability to obtain.
• DOT physical every 2 years as required by law.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow protocols.
• Ability to interact with customers and colleagues professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate spraying equipment, tender trucks, NH3 equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading vehicles per work orders.
• Operate a semi-truck in off-season as needed.
• Assist in other areas of the location as required.
• Calibrate application equipment and maintain agronomy facilities.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and equipment.
