Job summary

NEW Cooperative, Inc. in Iowa is seeking a capable agronomy/operations associate to support crop protection, fertilizer application, grain handling, and customer service in a safety-conscious environment.

You will operate spraying and NH3 equipment, assist in loading/unloading, and help maintain equipment while upholding high safety standards and professional conduct during the busy season. We value reliability, continuous improvement, and strong communication with customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Commercial Applicator’s License required or ability to obtain.
• Must pass a DOT physical every 2 years as required by law.
• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate spraying equipment, tender trucks, and NH3 equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading vehicles based on work orders.
• Operate a semi-truck in the off-season as needed.
• Assist in other areas of the location as needed.
• Performs work safely and follows PPE and safety protocols.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-maintained work area and equipment.
