Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Precision Maintenance Technician to diagnose, operate, construct, install, service and maintain multi-axis CNC machines and related equipment.

You will work on reactive and planned maintenance tasks with a focus on reliability and efficiency. The role requires 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with cranes/hoists/CNC, and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience repairing and troubleshooting cranes, hoists, CNC machines, or other heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience using precision measuring and alignment tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis to diagnose equipment problems and develop corrective actions.
• Enter and retrieve data from the CMMS system and order parts as needed.
• Plan and sequence work for maintenance of cranes, hoists, CNC machines and other heavy equipment.
• Coordinate with engineers and vendors for design reviews and FATs.
• Assist in training and mentoring other technicians.
