Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. seeks a shop floor technician responsible for data entry into the labor system and adherence to product criteria and activity instructions. You will handle equipment such as presses, CNC machines, and ovens, forming and finishing cores per specification.

Routine visual and dimensional inspections, safety adherence, and TPM compliance are required to ensure high-quality output and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience on shop floor data systems and labor entry processes.
• Ability to read and follow product criteria and activity instructions.
• Familiarity with safety policies and TPM practices.

Responsibilities

• Wand onto the shop floor data system for labor.
• Read and follow product criteria, activity instructions and elements.
• Follow safety precautions as spelled out in the Activity Instruction.
• Use of equipment/tools including CNC machines and hand tools.
• Form and finish cores per Activity instruction and product criteria.
• Inspect cores visually and dimensionally for defects per criteria.
• Maintain clean work area and TPM schedule compliance.
