Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a full-time, on-site worker at our Morristown, TN facility to perform core preparation, inspection, and assembly tasks. You will follow product criteria, operate related machinery, and ensure safety compliance while collaborating with a team in a high-pace manufacturing environment.

Qualified applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to read English instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions in English.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Quality Assurance experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds consistently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Access to export-controlled items constraints apply.

Responsibilities

• Wand onto the shop floor data system for labor.
• Read and follow product criteria, AIs, and elements.
• Follow safety precautions as per Activity Instructions.
• Pre-finish core inspection.
• Visually inspect cores for defects per criteria or AI.
