Job summary

Motor Controls Inc. (MCI) in Dallas, Texas is seeking a skilled Control Panel Wirer responsible for installing and wiring low-voltage control panels. The ideal candidate should be able to interpret electrical schematics and work independently. The position offers full-time status, along with benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a quarterly performance bonus, and a $500 signing bonus.

Candidates preferably bring experience with UL 508A industrial control panels and familiarity with industrial controls. Available shifts span from morning to evening.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics; this is the most important qualification for the role.
• At least 3 years of control panel wiring, panel assembly, or closely related electrical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision after work is assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Assemble, wire, label, and test low-voltage control panels.
• Install components including terminal blocks, relays, and PLC-related devices.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
