Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in configuration management or defense-program support.
• Experience with configuration identification, change control, status accounting, and audits.
• Ability to evaluate changes and assess impacts to documentation, testing, logistics, and cost.
• Strong technical-writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and control configuration items and baselines for hardware, software, and firmware.
• Process and track engineering change proposals, deviations, waivers, and revision notices through closure.
• Maintain configuration status accounting records, change logs, and revision histories.
• Coordinate changes with engineering, logistics, test, software, quality, and program teams.
• Prepare and support Configuration Control Board meetings and action tracking.
• Support audits and maintain controlled technical-data repositories and reviews.
