Job summary

Concrete Technologies, Inc. (CTI) is seeking self-motivated Saw Operators with concrete experience to join our team in Des Moines, IA. You will measure, mark, chalk lines, and saw finished concrete, while maintaining safety and quality on each project site.

Candidates should have familiarity with core, profiling, and drilling concrete as needed. A valid driver's license and strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous saw operation and concrete construction experience, preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must pass post conditional offer of employment physical.
• Able to work variable hours/shifts to meet needs of projects.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of work quality.
• Demonstrable teamwork abilities.
• Excellent time management skills. Work well under time constraints and respond positively to change.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, chalk lines, and saw finished concrete.
• At times may core, profile, and drill concrete.
• Vacuum, pull burlap, and other laborer-type tasks on job site.
• Help assist crew members when needed.
• Use and operate all tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures by wearing appropriate safety equipment and use excellent safety practices while visiting job sites per company policies.
• Always maintain jobsite free from clutter and garbage.
• Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
