Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking multiple Form Setters/Carpenters for a high-volume concrete construction company in Centennial, Colorado. This temp-to-perm, full-time position offers year-round work and opportunities to advance within the company.

Qualifications

Experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, carpentry, welding, or similar hands-on work.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willing to travel to job sites throughout Colorado; per diem paid for mobilization.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate ownership of the company’s core values.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Set and align concrete forms to the required pitch, depth, and specifications.
Inspect concrete forms to ensure proper construction and stability.
Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, hand and power trowels, screeds, and floats.
Monitor environmental conditions (wind, heat, cold) and adjust processes for proper concrete curing.
Produce rough concrete surfaces using a broom finish.
Form expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedges.
Clean chipped or uneven concrete areas using wire brushes and visual/tactile inspection.
Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure, waterproof, or restore concrete surfaces.
