SpeedyConcreteCutting,Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is looking for an Operator to perform precise concrete cutting, coring, demolition, and removal on commercial and residential sites.

Hands-on experience with cutting and drilling equipment and a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity are essential. The role requires interpreting job plans, setting up equipment, and maintaining tools and vehicles while upholding OSHA and silica standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as an operator in concrete cutting/drilling.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs or more and work in varying environments.
• Safety-focused with good teamwork and communication.
• Willingness to train on measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete cutting equipment such as walk-behind saws, hand saws, wall saws, core drills, and wire saws.
• Cut, saw, drill and remove concrete, asphalt, masonry per project specs.
• Read and interpret job plans and layouts.
• Set up work areas with ventilation, water supply, and dust control.
• Inspect, maintain, and clean tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE, silica safety, and OSHA regs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and site personnel.
• Perform general labor duties as needed on site.
