Job summary

Speedy Concrete Cutting, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an Operator to perform precise concrete cutting, coring, and related services on commercial, industrial, and residential sites.

You will operate walk-behind saws, core drills, and other equipment, reading plans and maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of operator experience, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of experience as an operator.
• Strong mechanical abilities.
• Safety-focused with a can-do attitude.
• Able to lift 45 lbs or more.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete cutting equipment such as walk-behind saws, hand saws, wall saws, core drills, and wire saws.
• Cut, saw, drill and remove concrete, asphalt, masonry, and other materials according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret job plans, measurements, layouts.
• Set up work areas with ventilation, water supply, and dust control.
• Inspect, maintain, and clean tools, company vehicles and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures including PPE, Silica Safety and OSHA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and site personnel.
• Perform general labor duties as needed on the job site.
