Job summary

Composite Factory is seeking a Finishing Technician I to manually sand and trim composite parts to meet engineering specs. The role requires hands-on use of hand and power tools, adherence to safety standards, and attention to detail.

You will bond and assemble parts, assist senior technicians, and help drive quality improvements. We offer a manufacturing environment with health benefits, a 401(k) plan, PTO, and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass respirator fit testing and maintain clean-shaven requirements per OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Manually sand or trim composite parts according to engineering drawings.
• Bond and assemble composite parts using rivets, fasteners, and adhesives; assist senior technicians.
• Ensure assemblies meet bonding material and engineering specifications.
• Prepare composite surfaces by filling and sanding to required finishes.
• Advise on best manufacturing practices for efficiency and quality.
• Follow health, safety, and workplace policies.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
