Job summary

Composite Resources in Rock Hill, SC, part of the Re:Build Manufacturing family, is seeking a Precision Composite Assembly and Layup Technician. Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in fast-paced manufacturing.
  • Experience with composites (Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, Fiberglass) strongly preferred as a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read/interpret SOPs and suggest improvements.
  • Measurement proficiency with calipers, micrometers, tape measure, indicators.
  • Background in assembly, bonding, and fastener applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Shift preference: second shift 2:30pm–1:30am, Mon–Thu.

Responsibilities

  • Master the application and handling of resin systems (Epoxy, Polyester, Vinyl ester, Silicones, etc.).
  • Hand-finish patterns and molds prior to production.
  • Use common hand tools for cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly.
  • Prepare and assemble structures with adhesive bonding and fastener installation.
  • Perform self-quality checks to confirm tight tolerances.
