Re:Build Manufacturing seeks a Composite Technician to perform layup, trimming, drilling, and assembly of aerospace components in a fast-paced production setting.

You will read blueprints, handle composite materials, resins and adhesives, and collaborate with engineers and quality inspectors to ensure high-quality output. A high school diploma or GED is required; technical training is preferred.

(link to The Re:Build Way principles)Who we are looking for*The Composite Technician will be responsible for composite layup, trimming, drilling, sanding and other assembly tasks related to the production of aerospace components. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality composite fabrication that supports our continued innovation in aerospace manufacturing.What you get to doComposite Layup: Prepare molds, apply and place composite materials following technical drawings and specifications.Perform secondary bonding of components with epoxies and resins.Vacuum bagging.Trimming & Cutting: Perform detailed trimming and cutting of composite materials using various tools to meet development and engineering specifications.Drilling: Operate hand drills and other equipment to drill holes in composite parts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering drawings.Tooling & Molding: Set up and use jigs, fixtures, and molds for the assembly process.Material Handling: Safely handle composite materials, resins, and adhesives, maintaining a clean and organized work area.Quality Assurance: Carry out inspections and tests on composite assemblies, noting any discrepancies or defects according to set procedures.Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality inspectors, and team members to improve processes and maintain high-quality output.What you bring to the TeamProficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.Understanding of composite materials, resin systems, and adhesives.Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.Attention to detail.Dexterity to handle small parts and tools.Ability to work in environments that may require PPE.High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, is required.Technical or vocational training in composite technology or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.The BIG payoffWe are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operateRe:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
