Job summary

Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Collision Center (Hoover) is seeking a technician to identify and perform body repairs in accordance with factory and Collision Center specifications. The role requires examining damage, estimating costs, requesting parts, and executing repairs while documenting work and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Candidate should have demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods and collision repair training or commensurate experience, with the ability to operate

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of body repair methods. Collision Center repair training or commensurate experience. Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions.

Responsibilities

• Examines body damage on customer vehicles
• Identifies necessary body repair work
• Estimates cost of body work
• Requests necessary parts
• Performs body repairs including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts
• Documents repairs performed
• Performs body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned
