Job summary

AutoNation is hiring a Collision Body Technician to perform vehicle repairs per dealer and factory standards. You will work with estimators and parts staff to complete repairs on time and deliver high-quality results that meet safety and quality expectations.

The role requires at least two years of automotive experience, a valid in-state driver’s license, and ICAR or OEM certification preferred. Training and advancement opportunities are available across the AutoNation network.

Qualifications

• Two years of automotive experience.
• ICAR certification (preferred) or interest to become certified.
• OEM certification (preferred) or interest to become certified.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
• Ability to operate an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on vehicles per repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate with Estimators and Parts staff to obtain necessary parts.
• Assess vehicle condition to determine additional safety or repair needs.
• Perform all body repairs according to estimate.
• Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
• Operate collision center equipment safely per AutoNation safety standards.
• Inspect all work as a QC measure when jobs are completed.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations affecting Collision Center operations.
• Maintain product knowledge to provide high quality repairs.
