Job summary

Farmer Brothers is seeking a hands-on Equipment Refurbisher to diagnose, restore, and certify commercial coffee brewers and related equipment. You will disassemble, replace worn parts, test performance, and document inspections to meet QA and inventory controls.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years refurbishing coffee brewers, basic electrical/plumbing skills, and the stamina to lift up to 100 lbs. Competitive pay with safety-first culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Foundational electrical and plumbing experience.
At least two years refurbishing or repairing coffee brewers or related commercial equipment.
Nice to have: espresso machines, grinders, bean-to-cup systems, French press, and cold brew.
Mechanical strength with an understanding of electrical systems.
Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Comfort reading technical manuals and schematics; communicate clearly; collaborate or work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

Start by disassembling the unit and evaluating each part for wear, damage, and overall condition.
Choose the right cleaning methods and materials to bring components back to spec.
Repair to factory standards; replace what’s necessary to ensure reliability.
Reassemble and test thoroughly—no shortcuts.
Run diagnostics that confirm performance, safety, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Build a precise record of inspections, repairs, tests, and all parts used.
Keep the parts room at par levels and your toolkit ready for the next challenge.
Package and label equipment clearly so shipping and customers know exactly what they’re receiving.
Maintain a spotless, organized workspace while following all safety guidelines.
Jump in to help track and ship parts and finished equipment.
Support inventory counts and, when needed, operate a forklift or pallet jack.
Take on other duties as assigned to keep the operation running smoothly.
