Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience as an industrial painter.
• Ability to read, write and follow written instructions.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Computer literacy is helpful.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prep units for painting by washing, drying, masking, tacking, sanding and cleaning.
• Ensure units, parts and assemblies are prepared before painting.
• Move units in paint area and in/out of spray booth; place parts on racks for drying.
• Select and mix paint to desired consistency and check shelf life.
• Mark painted parts with location, part numbers and other relevant info.
• Clean spray room, guns, pumps and tanks; adjust equipment as required.
• Perform hand buffing and finish work as needed; ensure finish thickness and no runs.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
