Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year of experience.
• Able to operate common hand tools and laboratory equipment.
• Capable of working on systems with high pressure, high energy, cryogens, or radioactive materials.
• Experience with vacuum systems and vacuum coaters is desirable.
• Knowledge of computer operations related to the field.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains lab equipment such as vacuum systems, pumps, compressors, and gas bottles.
• Interprets information to recognize coating operation drift and adjusts controls.
• Collects and records daily data accurately.
• Performs preventive maintenance for coater systems.
• Performs inspections and dimensional measurements per quality control docs.
• Maintains material inventories and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Follows safety protocols and GA procedures.
• Works in a clean room environment with required attire.
