Job summary

Qualifications

In this hands-on role, you will transform raw stock into high‑quality components by setting up and operating CNC lathes, fine-tuning processes, and verifying results against exacting specifications. Your attention to detail, comfort with FANUC controls, and commitment to safety will keep production running smoothly and reliably.A day in the shopYou arrive, review prints and job travelers, select tooling, and set up a CNC lathe to spec. You run the first piece, check dimensions with micrometers, calipers, tape measurers, dial indicators, and go/no-go gauges, then adjust offsets to dial in accuracy. Throughout the run, you monitor cycle performance, document production data, and quickly communicate any concerns to your supervisor.
