Job summary

Salvagnini Group in Hamilton, OH seeks a skilled CNC machinist/operator to set up, maintain, and operate CNC tooling with tight tolerances (+/- 0.0004”). You will read 2D tooling drawings, perform preventive maintenance, and help prioritize orders with fellow technicians.

Requires 5+ years of CNC experience, including OD grinder, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and CAD/CAM software; proficiency in AutoCAD and basic office tools; strong teamwork and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating and programming CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate CNC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance of production equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels on consumables/shop supplies.
• Interpret internal work orders for punch tooling created for our customers.
• Assist other technicians with programming/troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret mechanical 2D tooling drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools to 0.0001” / 0.025mm.
• Perform weekly maintenance checks on machinery.
