Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a seasoned CNC Maintenance Technician to keep complex precision equipment running safely and efficiently. You will perform break‑fix and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and control domains, and troubleshoot CNC/automation systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration defects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Associate’s degree (technical) plus 7+ years related industry experience; or 10+ years relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency with predictive technologies, precision alignments, and CNC/process equipment maintenance.
  • Fluency in electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems; able to analyze, synthesize solutions, and repair.
  • Comfort with hand tools; ability to travel as required.
  • Six Sigma background a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute expert break‑fix and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and control domains; design reliability upgrades.
  • Program and troubleshoot CNC/automation controls to resolve software, hardware, and configuration defects.
  • Apply predictive diagnostics to anticipate and prevent failures.
  • Champion CI projects using structured tools to deliver results and cost savings.
  • Identify, source, and qualify parts; recommend engineered alternatives that boost reliability.
  • Maintain rigorous CMMS records; mine data to drive action.
  • Provide technical inputs for sales quotations; complete time‑and‑materials assignments.
  • Coach developing technicians and, when assigned, act as project manager.
  • Advance your skills via OJT and self‑study; always work safely and correct hazards when you see them.
