Job summary

C&L Supreme is seeking a CNC Swiss Machine Operator to produce custom precision parts on a multi-axis Swiss-style CNC machine. You will maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, and care for equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities include operating multiple machines, inspecting parts with precision gauges, reading blueprints and GD&T, and communicating job status to setup personnel and foreman. This role requires physical endurance and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines or completion of a company apprenticeship.
• Ability to call up programs, offset tools and basic CNC operation.
• Strong mathematical, verbal and written communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Ability to read precision gauges and ensure accuracy.
• Ability to produce precision parts within specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple Swiss machines and produce parts within tolerances.
• Inspect precision parts using precision measuring tools and visual checks.
• Make offset adjustments, sharpen/change tooling, and maintain fluids.
• Load bar feeder and measure bar stock.
• Verify materials match blueprint and job specs.
• Maintain equipment via preventive maintenance and keep workstation clean and safe.
• Communicate status with setup personnel, foreman, and other shifts.
