Qualifications

• High School Diploma/equivalent; advanced technical training a plus.
• At least 5 years running Swiss-style lathes in manufacturing.
• Exposure to Citizen, Tsugami, or comparable Swiss platforms (preferred).
• Comprehensive understanding of machinery, tooling, measuring, and gauging; solid production-process knowledge.
• Expert-level setups; fluent in reading prints, routers, and setup files.
• Awareness of cosmetic and functional part requirements.
• Basic CNC programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Setups and changeovers on CNC Swiss lathes; program debugging; tool changes and machine adjustments.
• Operation and light maintenance of Swiss machines, plus finishing equipment and fixtures.
• Interpretation of blueprints, inspection check-sheets, and work instructions.
• Electronic quality documentation; ERP work-order management and machine monitoring.
• Feedback to CNC programmers; keep setup documentation current under formal change control.
• Training and guidance for peers; continuous improvement to lift quality and delivery.
• Execute the plan to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
