• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years operating Swiss-style lathes in manufacturing (medical preferred).
• Knowledge of tooling, measuring equipment, and gauging processes.
• Setup/reading of blueprints, routers, and setup files; basic CNC knowledge.
• Familiarity with Avalign’s Quality System and measurement sheets.

Shape What Heals: Swiss CNC Turning SpecialistPicture your shift beginning with a clean handoff and a fresh work order in the ERP queue. You review the blueprint and inspection check-sheets, confirm tools and fixtures, and bring a Swiss-style lathe online for a critical implant component. You fine-tune offsets, run a first-article, validate with calipers, micrometers, height stands, and comparators, and capture quality checks electronically. When a dimension drifts mid-run, you diagnose, adjust, and keep the plan on track for on-time delivery.
