Job summary

Asahi/America seeks an experienced CNC Set-Up Machinist to own jobs from drawing to first good part. You will set up CNC equipment, interpret blueprints, and ensure accuracy and repeatability for piping-system components.

You will inspect parts with precision tools, adjust processes, and optimize feeds and speeds. Thermoplastic machining and strong problem solving are valued, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Solid CNC machining and set-up experience.
• ,
• You will read and interpret drawings and tolerances.
• CNC programming is a strong plus.
• Experience machining thermoplastics (PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, or PE) is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
• Interpret blueprints and tolerances.
• Make machine adjustments for repeatable parts.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Select tooling and manage feeds and speeds.
• Troubleshoot machining issues.
