Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Neosho is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to safely and efficiently develop CAM programs that drive CNC machines to shape metal and plastic components. You will base programs on CAD models or blueprints to produce precise parts for aerospace, automotive, and tooling applications.

Responsibilities include analyzing job orders, reviewing CAD drawings, selecting tooling and cutting parameters, running simulations, testing output, and collaborating with shop

Qualifications

• Read mechanical drawings and documents.
• 1–2 years of CNC programming experience preferred.
• Read micrometers and calipers.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
• Detail-oriented with a results-driven approach.
• Good communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn and be taught.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze job orders.
• Review CAD models and blueprints.
• Determine cutting locations and material removal.
• Define machining sequences and tooling to use.
• Create CAM programs to guide CNC machines.
• Run simulation tests and validate programs.
• Conduct quality testing and improve code for efficiency, quality and safety.
• Communicate with programmers, shop staff, engineering and sales.
