Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and using measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills for operating machine controls and recording information.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC plasma cutting equipment to cut steel plate and structural materials per specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and cut lists.
• Load, position, and secure materials on the plasma cutting table.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for quality cuts.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensions and quality.
• Perform routine setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report issues.
