Job summary

Red Head Brass, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, run, and adjust NC machine tools on repetitive work. You will read drawings, select feeds and speeds, inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, and collaborate under supervision to meet production and quality standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with Fuji machines is a plus, and a focus on safety, time management, and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and layouts.
• Experience with measurement tools and quality control.
• Adherence to safety protocols and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load machines with stock and set up for production.
• Set speeds and feeds; select machine parameters for material characteristics.
• Operate two or more machines if needed.
• Diagnose malfunctions and adjust as required to maintain tolerances.
• Read from drawings and specifications to ensure cut length tolerances.
• Meet or exceed production and quality standards.
• Use micrometer, calipers, depth gauge, bore gauge, thread gauge, and height gauge.
• Work from complex programming and setup instructions.
