Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a skilled CNC Operator in Hillsboro, OR to set up, operate, and optimize CNC machines producing precision metal components. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and ensure parts meet exact specs using calipers and micrometers.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC machining experience, with 3–5 years preferred for program editing and multi-axis operation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of experience, including program editing and multi-axis machine operation.
• Proficient reading of blueprints with GD&T knowledge.
• Experience machining stainless steel, steel, and aluminum.
• Able to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for production of parts in stainless steel, steel, and aluminum, including loading programs, and tooling fixtures.
• Make necessary offsets and adjustments to CNC programs and machine settings based on job requirements and inspection data.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine care on equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Accurately complete job travelers, inspection logs, and labor tracking in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with other departments or team members to meet production goals and resolve issues.
