Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Operator to join a precision manufacturing team in Ann Arbor, MI. The role involves loading, running, and monitoring CNC machines and robotic tending equipment, supporting assembly, and performing quality inspections with calipers, gauges, and scanners.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, keen attention to detail, and the ability to learn new equipment quickly.

Qualifications

• Some manufacturing experience preferred (CNC, robotics, assembly, or quality inspection background is a plus).
• Comfortable working with your hands and learning new equipment quickly.
• Strong attention to detail to catch small issues early.
• Reliable attendance and on-time performance for a 1st shift schedule.
• Ability to stand, lift (up to 35 lbs), and move around a production floor for a full shift.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and monitor CNC machines and robotic tending equipment through production cycles
• Support assembly operations on finished components
• Perform in-process and final quality inspection using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, scanners)
• Identify and flag defects, out-of-spec parts, or equipment issues before they become bigger problems
• Follow standard work, maintain accurate production records, and keep workstation clean, organized, and safe
