Haag-Streit USA, based in Mason, Ohio, is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC lathes and vertical machining centers, producing precision parts for ophthalmic instruments. You will read specifications, verify tolerances with micrometers and calipers, and help maintain low scrap in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Vertical Machining Centers.
• Read, interpret and follow written procedures; follow verbal instructions.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure quality.
• Have good manual dexterity for precise machining.
• Communicate clearly with manufacturing leadership.
• Work as part of a team to assemble products.
• Read gauges and measurements (OD/ID micrometers, height gauge, dial calipers).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform turning, drilling, boring, threading, milling and facing.
• Read specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Observe machine operation and verify conformance with measuring instruments.
• Maintain low rejection and scrap rate by inspection as needed.
• Meet company standards for setup and run times.
