Urschel Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Precision Machine Operator for 2nd shift in the Milling department at our Chesterton, Indiana facility. The role is full-time with potential Friday work based on workload.

Starting pay is $29.18/hour plus a 5% shift differential. The company offers ESOP, comprehensive benefits, and strong career growth in a climate-controlled plant. Qualified candidates will have at least one year in manufacturing, the ability to read engineering prints, and experience

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering prints and job notes.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools, including manual or CNC, to produce parts from castings, forgings, fabricated parts, and bar stock.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and document inspections.
• Perform tasks to complete the manufacturing process while maintaining quality and safety.
