Schulte Staffing is seeking an experienced Toolmaker/Machinist for a precision manufacturing employer in Reading, MA. The role focuses on operating and maintaining conventional and CNC equipment to produce tooling and fixtures with tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. On-site, full-time with competitive benefits and starting pay of $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on machining experience required.
• Experience operating conventional milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
• CNC milling and CNC lathe experience preferred.
• Experience with stamping dies and injection molds is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Mansioni

• Set up, operate, and maintain conventional and CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Operate surface grinders and conventional EDM equipment.
• Manufacture and maintain precision tooling, including injection molds, stamping dies, and production and assembly fixtures.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on molds and stamping dies.
• Troubleshoot and complete minor tooling repairs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
