Job summary

Electroform is seeking an experienced CNC Hard Milling Machinist/Programmer to set up, program, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis milling machines for high-precision tooling in the medical industry. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and optimize processes to meet tight tolerances in a clean, climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC milling experience.
• Experience programming and operating CNC mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with Mastercam, HAAS, Fanuc, or Okuma controls is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Manufacture precision parts to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Select tooling and optimize machining processes for quality and efficiency
• Inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with programmers, toolmakers, and quality inspectors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
