Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Machinist for our client in Donalsonville, GA. You will read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts to spec.

This hands-on role requires inspecting finished work with precision tools, troubleshooting feed and program issues, and ensuring safety and quality in daily operations.

You will join a collaborative team with a focus on accuracy, continuous improvement, and meeting blueprint tolerances.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machinist working with both CNC and manual equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Experience setting up and operating CNC controls/programming
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers) and a strong commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, plans, and work orders to determine job specifications
• Enter, edit, and verify digital instructions/programs into CNC equipment controls
• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) to produce parts to specification
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet quality and tolerance standards
• Troubleshoot machine or program issues and make adjustments as needed
