Job summary

AtWork Personnel North Gwinnett is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join its manufacturing team. The role requires operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC machines to produce components per technical specs.

You will read blueprints, use CAD/CAM systems, perform manual machining, and maintain thorough production documentation while following safety protocols to ensure high precision and quality. This position emphasizes craftsmanship and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery.
Ability to read mechanical blueprints and technical drawings.
Understanding GD&T for precise measurement and quality control.
Experience with CAD/CAM systems and CNC programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machining equipment, such as water jets, laser, or plasma cutting machines.
Be able to use CAD/CAM systems.
Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to produce components that meet quality standards.
Maintain documentation of machine setups, production logs, and inspection reports for traceability.
Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime; perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing best practices at all times.
