Lunar Resources, Inc. seeks a skilled Manual and CNC Lathe Machinist in Houston, TX to set up and operate manual and CNC lathes producing precision components for advanced energy systems.

You will read engineering drawings and GD&T, select tools, perform machine setups and offsets, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, and maintain a safe, organized shop. On-the-job training is provided with opportunities to grow as a machinist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in a shop/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read simple drawings; training available.
• Must be a US citizen.

Responsabilités

• Operate manual mills and lathes and CNC machines.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Set up tools, offsets, and workholding.
• Perform measurements with micrometers/calipers.
• Inspect finished parts for tolerances.
• Maintain clean and safe workstation.
• Document production and inspections.
• Report issues promptly.
