Job summary

Dunaway is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Canfield, OH to join our precision machining team. You will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, program using G-Code, and read technical drawings to ensure tight tolerances.

Our shop emphasizes teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement. You will work M–F, with no mandatory OT, in a climate-controlled environment and receive comprehensive benefits as part of a family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with strong CNC programming and G-Code understanding.
• Proficient in operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Solid manual machining skills with vertical mills and horizontal centers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Technical training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) and/or lathes to produce parts.
• Program CNC machines using G-Code and conversational programming.
• Perform manual machining as needed on mills and lathes.
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure machining accuracy.
• Collaborate to improve processes and productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
