Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a CNC Machinist to produce rotors for centrifuge instruments in the on-site Indianapolis machine shop. You will set up, troubleshoot, and analyze the machining process, with opportunities to run CNC Mills and Lathes.

The role requires 5+ years machinist experience, G&M code familiarity, and strong problem-solving to keep parts within tolerance. You may also have experience with calipers, bore gauges, pins, and micrometers.

Qualifications

• High School/GED with 5+ years machinist experience in manufacturing.
• G&M code experience; familiarity with CNC machines and Fanuc controls.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to develop solutions for parts out of tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and job orders to obtain product specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Position and secure work pieces to holding devices, machine tables, chucks, centers, or fixtures.
• Set specified tools and depth of cut in accordance with material specifications and tooling guidelines; follow work instructions and set up books.
