Mersen is a global expert in electrical specialties and advanced materials, seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join its manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC mills and lathes, read engineering drawings, and produce precision components to specifications.

This role emphasizes quality workmanship, safe operations, and collaboration with programmers, engineers, and supervisors. Pay is $22.00 - $34.00 per hour, with standard benefits.

Competenze

• CNC machining experience or relevant technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of basic machining principles, cutting tools, feeds and speeds.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Experience with CNC mills and/or CNC lathes.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Experience machining aluminum, steel, stainless steel, or other production materials.
• Vocational, technical, or machining certification.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and/or other CNC machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&T.
• Load tools, set offsets, and make machine adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Make basic program edits and offsets as required.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements.
• Work effectively with programmers, engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to resolve production issues.
