Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions LLC in Arab, Alabama seeks a CNC Machinist to operate multi-axis CNC machines and produce precision medical components. You will run multiple machines, monitor programs, and complete documentation including inspections and maintenance logs.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of machining experience, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with measuring tools and GD&T. Lean and medical device manufacturing experience are a plus, with a strong emphasis on safety and

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required (preferred).
• 1+ years operating machining equipment (preferred).
• Experience operating CNC mills or lathes independently (required).
• Experience using measuring tools (calipers, height gauge, indicators) (required).
• Experience reading basic blueprints (required).
• Lean manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Medical device manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Certifications in machining (preferred).
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-axis CNC machines to produce parts.
• Run multiple machines concurrently and monitor program performance.
• Complete shop work orders, inspections, and daily maintenance sheets.
• Make off sets and adjustments with moderate supervision.
• Support health and safety of self and others.
• Adhere to QMS procedures and work instructions.
• Attend required training and maintain quality standards.
