Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Euclid, OH is seeking a Maintenance Machinist to set up and operate CNC and conventional machines, reading mechanical drawings and inspecting parts with precision tools. You will adjust feeds, speeds, and temps; repair parts; and collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet quality targets.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge reading mechanical drawings.
• Experience with machining and grinding techniques (feed rates, speeds).
• Ability to set up machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Ability to write and modify machine programs.
• Math skills to calculate dimensions and speeds.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks under general supervision.
• Provides training and assistance to less experienced Machinists.
• Creates and reworks machinery and equipment components from drawings.
• Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature.
• Operates CNC and conventional machines to fabricate parts.
• Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications.
• Repairs maintenance parts as needed.
• Verifies accuracy with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Orders and maintains project related material as required.
• Assist with keeping neat and orderly records on work performed and repairs made.
• Work with Engineering, Production Leads, Managers to accomplish results.
• Adjust schedule and work hours; weekends/holidays as required.
• Follow safety practices and company specifications; report issues.
• Other duties as assigned by department Manager.
