Blossom Machine Production is seeking a CNC technician to set up, operate and maintain the CNC work center. The role will use precision instruments to verify parts meet specified tolerances.

Responsibilities include following production plans, ensuring safe work areas, loading and verifying CNC programs, measuring parts, and recording data to reduce process variation. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of experience (not required).
• Aerospace experience is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of speeds and feeds.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Troubleshoot floor problems effectively.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use inspection gauges.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent attendance and work history.

Aufgaben

• Adhere to Blossom Machine Production planning, build package instruction, AS-9100 policy & procedures, job description, and employee handbook.
• Promote a safe work environment by keeping area neat and free from spills, chips and loose cords.
• Ensure tool spindles/holders/tools/fixtures are free of foreign objects.
• Indicate fixtures, establish tool length offsets, tool loading and X-Y-Z zero locations per setup sheets.
• Load QA-approved CNC programs into machine control.
• Load parts on fixtures and ensure parts/fixtures are clean.
• Monitor feed rates, spindle speeds, and tool wear for surface finish.
• Interpret parts drawings and scrap history.
• Collect inspection data and record on Operator Check Sheets.
• Verify material type/lot/drawings and report any variances.
• Receive/verify/return tooling fixtures per setup sheets.
• Monitor coolant concentrations to protect tool life.
• Post time worked to the Vista data system.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Work Monday–Friday, 6:00am–4:30pm (Fri 6:00–11:30am); hours may change.
