Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Tolland, CT. This role offers a first shift with a 4x10 schedule and pay ranging from $28 to $32+ per hour based on experience.

You will work in a precision-focused, quality-driven environment, operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce parts per print specifications. You will read blueprints, apply GD&T, and perform inspections with calipers and micrometers, while maintaining tight tolerances

Qualifications

2+ years of CNC setup and operation experience preferred.
Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
Strong blueprint-reading skills.
Working knowledge of GD&T.
Ability to consistently hold tight tolerances, including ±.0005".
Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 environment is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
Produce precision components to print specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents.
Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet requirements.
Perform precision inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
Make machining adjustments and troubleshoot production issues.
Maintain tight tolerances and consistent part quality.
Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized.
