Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics Manufacturing in Bristol, Rhode Island, seeks an Experienced CNC Machinist (2nd shift) to operate CNC and manual equipment, producing tight tolerance parts using pre-loaded programs and tooling. The role requires the ability to manage multiple machines and perform set-ups as needed.

The ideal candidate has a background in manufacturing, reads blueprints with GD&T accuracy, and adheres to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on CNC milling and/or lathe machines.
• Set-up experience and/or program edits preferred.
• Understanding of blueprints and GD&T required.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, sit and lift up to 40 pounds for 8–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to tight tolerances; may run more than one machine.
• Independently measure parts with minimal guidance using precision tools.
• Complete all shift documentation accurately.
• Troubleshoot problems; identify dull tools and replace as needed.
• Make offsets with multiple datum systems.
• Verify raw material documentation and maintain lot traceability.
• Execute and document preventative maintenance tasks.
• Keep work station clean and organized.
• Pursue opportunities to develop new skills within department.
