NS IT Solutions LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist in Hampton, VA for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). The role sets up, operates, and maintains machine tools to fabricate high-precision parts from blueprints.

Read drawings, select tools, and perform quality checks using precision instruments to ensure tolerances are met. Ideal candidates have 4–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, strong troubleshooting skills, and a high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Experience with machining and ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with measurement tools and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce high-precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and tolerances.
• Select cutting tools and establish speeds/feeds per material.
• Measure finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges to confirm specs.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues.
• Inspect parts for quality before assembly or final product.
