Job summary

Caterpillar is recruiting a Machine Operator to support Reman Drivetrain at the West Fargo, ND facility. The role involves operating a variety of equipment to produce final products and assist in developing new processes.

Required are at least two years in manufacturing; high school or tech school preferred. The position offers 2nd shift hours (4:15PM-2:45AM) with a 7% night-shift premium and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two-year tech school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years job related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use precision measuring devices to machine parts.
• Read blueprints and gauges to ensure quality conformance.
• Set-up, adjust, and perform CNC/Manual operations with tight tolerances.
• Conduct pre- and post-inspection of machined parts.
• Support cross-training and assist teammates with production issues.
