Candidate should have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain machine tools to specification.
• Read drawings with minimal supervision.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Ensure tight tolerances and dimensional accuracy.
• Adhere to safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report issues.
• Collaborate with team when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine tools such as CNC lathes, machining centers, drill presses, grinders, punch presses, or similar equipment.
• Set up equipment and perform minor repairs, adjustments, and calibrations as required.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and tolerances.
• Monitor feeds, speeds, and machining conditions to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Detect and report defective materials or abnormal machine conditions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and upkeep.
• Dispose of scrap and waste materials in compliance with company and environmental standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and follow all safety procedures.
