Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of machining experience entering and observing machine operations.
• Knowledge of tolerances, blueprints and GD&T basics.
• Ability to perform non-complex adjustments to machinery and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Determine dimensions and tolerances from drawings and samples.
• Select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on mills and lathes.
• Install tooling from tool list and verify tool offsets.
• Verify finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers.
• Communicate process issues to supervisor and complete paperwork
